Co-financed Scholarships

The Co-Financed or Joint scholarships for Indian students are joint ventures of the French Embassy and various other institutions or organizations in India or abroad.

These scholarships aim to support meritorious Indian students financially for the duration of their studies in France and are offered at various levels and in different fields of study such as arts, engineering, management, social sciences etc.

The partner institution or organization and the Embassy of France in India contribute towards the living expenses of selected students through allocation of social security (BCS) scholarships and reduction of tuition fees under the joint scholarship programmes.

As a part of social security (BCS) scholarship, the selected students receive the status of French government scholarship holder and benefits such as social security, visa fee exemption, Campus France fee waiver and assistance with finding accommodation.

Currently, there are six co-financed or joint scholarships offered by the French Embassy in India.
