Sciences Po and the French Embassy in India co-financed scholarship

Sciences Po Paris and the French Embassy in India co-financed scholarship scheme aims to promote higher education in France in the field of social sciences. The scholarship is awarded to 2 Indian students interested in pursuing a master programme at Sciences Po Paris.

Sciences Po Paris prepares students for careers in international organizations, international NGOs and public organizations, media, journalism, consultancy and the private sector in general. It is a top research and teaching university located in Paris, with undergraduate campuses spread all over France.

ELIGIBILITY

The applicant must:

  • be an Indian citizen
  • not be more than 30 years old
  • be enrolled in Master in International management (MIM) programme at the EDHEC Business school

BENEFITS

The awardees of the scholarship receive the following benefits:

1. Tuition fee waiver upto 10,000 euros as part of The Emile-Boutmy Scholarship

Sciences Po Paris created the Emile-Boutmy scholarship after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to attract the very best international students from outside of the European Union. The Emile-Boutmy scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

2. The French Embassy awards a BCS (Bourse de Couverture Sociale) scholarship covering the following benefits : Status of French government scholarship holder, social security (mutuelle), assitance in finding affordable accommodation (priority access to CROUS; subject to availability), Visa and Campus France fee waiver.

The interested candidates must contact Sciences Po Paris directly for information on admission process and selection procedure for the Emile-Boutmy scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded based on factors of excellence and according to the type of profile sought for this programme. Social criteria are also taken into account. It is not automatically awarded. A request for it must be made in the section designated for the purpose on the application form.
