Getting a visa

If you are a PhD or PG from a French Institution you have an opportunity to get a five-year circulation Visa to France and Schengen Area.
It was in July 2013, when ambassador François Richier made travelling and doing business with France easier for the all the Indian residents who hold degrees from French Institutions. The visa allows the applicants to stay in the Schengen area for up to 90 days and with a 90-day gap between stays.
Eligibility
1. Indian alumni of Indo-French dual degree programs are eligible to apply.
2. Indian Citizen and should be residing in India
3. Candidate must hold a Master’s degree or PhD from a French Institute which ought to be recognized by the French authorities
4. Candidate must be planning to travel to France
5. Candidate must apply from India
*Students who graduated before July 2013 can also apply for the visa.
How To Apply?
1. File a regular application for tourist or business Visa
2. Attach a copy of French degree (Master’s, PhD, PG degree)
*Spouse and Children are eligible (if travelling).
