Call for application : Eiffel scholarship program of excellence 2022

The Eiffel program is offered by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. It aims to enable French universities and colleges to enable French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students to enroll in their master’s or doctoral programs.

The scholarships are offered at the master’s and PhD levels in the following fields of study:

• Science and techniques (biology and health, Ecological transition, Mathematics and digital science and engineering)
• Human and social science (history, French language and civilization, Law and political sciences, economics and management)

Benefits:

The awardees receive a monthly stipend of € 1,181 at master’s level and € 1,700 at Ph.D. level. Additionally, the scholarship also offers other expenses like a return ticket, local transport, and travel, medical insurance, and participating in cultural events and activities.

The scholarship doesn’t cover the tuition fee.

Eligibility criteria: The applicants must fulfill the following basic requirements:

• be nationals of a country other than France.
• be 30 years or less at the master’s level and 35 years or less at the Ph.D. level
• only applications submitted by French educational institutions will be accepted. Any application submitted directly by the students will not be taken into account.
• applicants to ensure that they meet the language requirements of the academic programme they are enrolled in
• candidates already studying in France are not eligible to apply

Selection Process: The awardees are selected based on their academic background and performance.

The deadline for application submission of the Eiffel Scholarship is 7th January 2022.
