The Franco-Indian Education Trust, a non-profit charitable and educational trust, is a joint initiative of the Embassy of France in India and Mr Prshant K Lahoti, Managing Trustee of the Krishnakriti Foundation. It was established in August 2017 and unveiled in March 2018 during the State visit of President Emmanuel Macron to India
The Trust aims to increase the mobility of students between India and France, provide equal opportunities to women and lower income groups and empower individuals through education. It offers scholarships to Indian students to pursue higher studies in France.
The Trust is currently inviting applications for the following scholarship programmes:
- Amba Dalmia scholarship programme:
- Bahman Samandari scholarship programme:
- UGAM Legrand scholarship programme
