Microsoft International chief, SKEMA graduate, on campus
Jean-Philippe Courtois and Michel Bernasconi at SKEMA entrepreneuship conferenceMarch, Jean-Philippe Courtois, president of Microsoft international and SKEMA graduate, was on campus for a conference on innovation and entrepreneurship.

During the conference, Courtois explained what innovation means from Microsoft's perspective, and how this world-leading company encourages innovation, giving precise examples along the way.
Skype co-founder talks to MSc students
Niklas Zennström was on the Sophia campusSkype co-founder Niklas Zennström was on the Sophia campus for a conference with students in December.

In an MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation event after the conference, Zennström spent time chatting with students.

He discussed what it takes to make a game-changing business and gave students advice on becoming successful entrepreneurs.
Financial Times ranks SKEMA MSc in Top 10 worldwide
The Financial Times MAsters in Finance logoThe Financial Times has ranked SKEMA's MSc in Financial Markets & Investments 9th out of 30 universities and business schools worldwide. Among French institutions it is 5th. See the ranking at

Our MSc Financial Markets and Investments programme is ranked particularly well on three criteria: International mobility of our alumni (3rd); Careers rank (6th); International course experience rank (7th)

This international rank will be reinforced with the opening of the MSc on our American campus in Raleigh next September.
MSc Event & Tourism: ranked 2nd best in France - SMBG
SMBG’s rankings have placed SKEMA’s MSc Strategic Event Management & Tourism Management second best tourism and hospitality MSc in France.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the MSc has placed second from top in this ranking.
Minister for Labour on campus for debate
Minister for labour was on SKEMA’s Lille campusEric Woerth (pictured, on left), France's former minister for labour was on SKEMA’s Lille campus for a debate with students titled “Can France be reformed”. The conference was organised by the debating society in partnership with KPMG.

Job interview simulations event
Comic picture of HR professionals in interview Over 200 SKEMA alumni were recruited to carry out 500 individual job-interview simulations with SKEMA students on the Sophia Antipolis and Paris-La Défense campuses. Each interview lasted around 35 minutes, followed by feedback.

The purpose of this annual event: to give students the extra boost that will make them stand out in a tougher job market.
Careers Days on all French campuses
Four smiling professionalsOn the Sophia campus, the event was an all-day recruitment fair where more than 800 internships were on offer and around 300 jobs were presented to students. Around 100 companies were present. Similar events took place on the SKEMA Paris campus, and Lille campuses.
Luxury & Fashion opens at SKEMA's Chinese campus
Shanghai skylineFrom September 2011, the MSc Luxury & Fashion Management will be open on the SKEMA-China campus in Suzhou.

For students studying at the SKEMA-China campus, this opportunity gives openings onto, as well as expertise in, the Asian luxury industry. Students will acquire, of course, in-depth practical knowledge of the European and French luxury industry; added to that, they will become proficient in the specificities of the Asian luxury industry and markets.
