International Newsletter - July edition

Our partners from Annaba (Algeria) visited us on May 23rd to prepare for the opening of our next academic franchise in in September of this year. Mr. Mohammed Saad Laib the Director of DIDACTICA was accompanied by  the Head of Teaching and Learning at the school, to continue the work already started with the signing of an agreement on April 1st 2010 to open the international bachelor programme at their school.

During the visit, they also met Frederic Richard who is head of the Master programme in Management and Sustainable Development to discuss the possibility of opening the programme there  in the near future.

Our Head of International Relations, Vincent Beauséjour, attended the NAFSA conference in Vancouver in May. He managed to meet with some great North American potential partners and we are currently working closely with them in order to come to an understanding on double diploma degrees. Once again, this was a successful conference.

Pr Frings of the Fachhochschule Aachen (Aachen School of Applied Sciences) came to discuss the Double Diploma agreement between our two schools at a Bachelor level. It was an honor to show him around the school and discuss with him all the opportunities of cooperation between our schools. FH Aachen has been a long-time partners and the exchange agreement is working really well on both sides. Danke Schön!

We just received the visit of a delegation of our partner school in Shanghai: Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. We have been partners since 2005 and the exchange agreement is stronger than ever. The 3 members of this delegation were welcomed by our Director and Head of International Relations for a morning of… work! They managed to talk to the different departments of our school and to get a better grasp of the level of cooperation we can contemplate in the future. We look forward to their next visit!
